Senior Year can be somewhat stressful. Be sure to remain dilligent and organized and avoid SENIORITIS! It is important to remain on top of your priorities and deadlines! Be sure to keep all of your documents organized. If you plan ahead and complete items sooner than later, you can alleviate a great deal of stress and concern for yourself.
ALL colleges require a letter of recommendation from your School Counselor to accompany your application. It is imperative that you fill out the senior profile and return it to your Counselor as soon as possible in order for your letter to be completed. Do not wait until the last minute. Please know that if you have a deadline, it takes 3-4 weeks for a letter so ensure that this is submitted with enough time.
RESEARCH and identify appopriate schools to apply to. You can use the SuperMatch College Search (on Naviance) to identify schools based on your own preferences.
Make sure that you create a Common Application account and match it to your Naviance account. Some colleges are not a part of the Common Application so you may need to research schools of interest on how to apply. Some colleges have their own application process directly so be sure to check.
